MetrIQ is made by Caltrix Labs: a triathlon plan that starts where you are, and tells you what every session is for.
[The coach's name, and a photo.]
[Two or three sentences in the coach's own voice: how long they've coached or raced, what distances, and why they built this rather than using what already exists.]
[Caltrix Labs in one sentence: where it's based and what it makes.]
Every rule in the plan is tested against one question: does this punish a missed session? If it does, it's the wrong rule.
A chart tells you what a session is. A coach tells you what it's for. Every session gets both.
The notes are written once, by a person, and checked against every session they reach. They are not generated per athlete.
If we don't know your threshold yet, the plan says so rather than guessing. If a feature isn't built, we say that too.
A plan is stored as it was made. Improving MetrIQ never changes a plan you're already training on.
Your training data is used to build your plan and to make MetrIQ better. We don't sell it, and there is no advertising.
Triathletes of every level — training for a race, or building toward one. The beta starts with 70.3 and base-building plans, with Sprint and Olympic coming next; tell us your distance when you apply. It's a small group, so we can work closely with each athlete.
No. Sessions carry an effort target as well as watts or pace. Once you've done the benchmark tests, your own numbers appear beside them.
Then you miss them, and the week still works. Nothing in the plan makes you pay the missed work back. Tick what you did, and tell us how it went.
Adaptation is in development, and beta athletes are shaping it. When it arrives, every change comes with the coach's reasoning. See how it will work.
Not yet — they're on the roadmap. Beta sessions are in the app, with every block, zone and target written out.

Beta is free through your race — or your first sixteen weeks if you're not racing yet.
